I have a requirement for a system administrator who can take install and set up software on a dedicated Internet web server to run our web site that is moving from a shared host.
The current web we site is running on Tomcat and MySQL database using JSP's.
The host we have chosen has Plesk 8, Fedora Core 4 and Linux but Tomcat is not enabled by default this needs to be installed, MySQL is installed.
Also e-mail and any additional security needs to be set up and advice on back-ups etc.
We (here in the UK) have to migrate the code because of security concerns about the code.
The task to be done is to ensure everything is done to prepare for the site to be migrated easily and provide any e-mail or telephone assistance when migrating the code if necessary.
