This site is similar to scriplance.com. It brings together computer support guru's and clients. What is different is that it is on demand. Guru's log in when available and clients start an instant auction or search for available Guru's based on their needs and budget.
The site will also provide remote computer control and text/audio chat to allow the Guru to control the clients computer. This is done via proxy to preserve anonymity, allow the site to record the entire session, and to reduce the likelyhood of Guru's trying to go direct with clients and avoid any fees. The recorded session can be available to the Guru's for advertising their services or for re-use/re-sale. The site will also provide escrow service to keep things fair and honest.
The remote control/communications software must be world class so perhaps it can be done utilizing the services of [url removed, login to view] or [url removed, login to view]
It should be scalable from single digit to large simultaneous interactions. Same with the escrow/transation processing.
Development should be done using best in class GPL components such as Joomla/MySQL. Whatever makes the most sense.
This would compete with companies already doing paid remote support such as [url removed, login to view] and gurus2go.com.
