Job Description:
I have recently installed a new theme on my WordPress website – [login to view URL] – and it is now all but finished.
I am in the process of re-writing the “About me” page and a couple of the images on the home page are due to be replaced. Other than that, it is done.
I have had some separate work done on it to improve page speed and I’m very happy with the GTMetrix/Pingdon scores.
My “Google places” presence is good and I have a plan to update the website content (blog posts) regularly. Site maps have been submitted and indexed (Google).
I have the Yoast plugin installed, but have done very little in the way of customising it – I don’t really know what I am doing with it!
Before revamping my website, it was always on page one for “Liverpool photographer” but slipped as low as page 7 after installing and customising the new theme – over the last week it has been wobbling between page 4 and 5.
What I’d like to do is get it back up the search results for “Liverpool photographer” and investigate improving the rankings of other relevant search terms – eg “Commercial photographer liverpool” and “Manchester photographer”
At the moment, I’m looking for a one-off job, with the plan of coming back to you every 3/6 months for updates, refinements & tweaks.
