Custom 40x15cm Stitched Pouch

I need a handmade pouch sewn to finished dimensions of roughly 40 cm × 15 cm. The body must feel “like cardboard”—firm and self-supporting—so please choose or reinforce a fabric accordingly (for instance, a heavy canvas fused with stiff interfacing, or any other technique that gives the pouch that rigid, cardboard-style structure). Instead of hardware closures, I want the opening finished purely by stitching—no zipper, button, or Velcro. A clean fold-over or envelope edge held in place with neat top-stitching is perfect as long as the contents stay secure. The outer surface should carry a clear geometric-shapes motif. Appliqué, pieced panels, or printed fabric are all fine; the pattern just needs to read crisp and modern.
