Mission: Automate Libreoffice Write so it assists in creation of an report that mainly consists of photos and their EXIF information.
Two external Linux tools will be invoked in the process.

Libreoffice basic script is to be invoked from menu item
The Libreoffice basic script should:
1: ask user to select the folder with photos.
2: ask user to choose target coordinate format. (choose a sting, like EPSG:25833, EPSG:32633 or EPSG:4326 )
3: For each picture in folder:
-read GPS coordinates from EXIF - using linux tool in shell exiftool: exiftool -ee -p '$gpslongitude $gpslatitude $gpsaltitude $comment' *.JPG -n
-(now you have coordinates in EPSG:4326 - and a comment)
-IF: an different coordinate system is selected , then convert coordinates using linux shell tool: gdaltransform -t_srs EPSG:25833 -s_srs EPSG:4326
4: create a new page like page 5 , by doing:
at end of document, add page brake, insert photo (one report page per photo)
- then invoke LibreOffice's "compress image" feature to save space.
, draw a table, and populate it as page 5 illustrates , using number, comment, and possibly converted coordinates.\ - add the signature fields below. (like page5)
repeat for each photo in photo directory. 20 photos=20 report pages.
Finally, perferably using another script (invoked from menu)
Populate "summary" table, (in page2) by inserting rows as needed, and populating them with data from tables in each report page.
The goal is to have report pages created, then we can manually refine the descriptions and suggested solutions, - then run another macro, and get a summary generated.
If course, it may be possible to just link the fields from the report pages directly to the summary table , if you can do that, it's fine.
