I need someone who can live in my Shopify admin and keep my customer inbox calm and tidy. Just about everything comes in by email—order status checks, “where’s my refund?” nudges, the occasional complaint that needs a little extra empathy—so clear, well-timed written replies are the heart of this job. You’ll log into Shopify each day, pull up the order, solve the issue, and then craft a concise reply that leaves the customer feeling heard. If a refund, exchange, or re-ship is required, you’ll handle it on the spot and note the action in the order timeline. A quick phone call may pop up now and then; as long as you’re comfortable picking up when it matters, that’s enough. The key is to keep response times low, accuracy high, and tone friendly—even when the customer is anything but. I’m platform-agnostic on the mailbox itself; Gmail, Outlook, or Shopify’s native tool all work for me as long as everything stays organized and searchable. Deliverables • Inbox at zero by end of shift, with all tickets tagged or closed • Orders, refunds, and exchanges fully processed inside Shopify before reply is sent • End-of-week snapshot (top issues, recurring questions, any suggestions) If you’ve already handled Shopify support, great—you’ll hit the ground running.
