I’ve already built an Asterisk-based VoIP system as part of a systems/networking project, including PBX configuration, SIP users, call routing and the surrounding Linux/network setup. I also work regularly with routing, NAT, firewalling and remote infrastructure. For this setup, the important part is keeping both SIM paths isolated all the way through the system. I’d map each Dinstar port to its own FreePBX trunk/routing path so SIM 1 and SIM 2 cannot cross on inbound calls, outbound calls, callbacks or AI-to-human transfers. Retell would sit behind the corresponding inbound route through its SIP/custom telephony path, with each agent tied to the correct number and transfer destination. I’d test the complete chain in both directions: Dinstar → FreePBX → Retell → softphone softphone/Retell callback → FreePBX → correct Dinstar SIM For remote users I recommend Linphone unless you already have a preferred SIP client. My experience with GSM/LTE gateways is on the architecture and SIP-routing side; for this UC2000 setup I’d work directly against its trunk/port model. I haven’t done a commercial Retell deployment yet, but the SIP integration path is clear and documented. The setup includes routing, NAT/firewall configuration, caller ID, transfers, simultaneous-call testing and handover documentation.
