Hello: I've done couple of similar projects for a client here. Some factors you need to consider for your project. • Microsoft excel has an online version which is called “Excel Online”. There are some limitations though. The file size limit to view the file is 10 MB and the file size limit to edit it online is 5 MB. Multiple users can use it simultaneously but it sometimes can conflict with each other’s input. • “Excel Online” do not support macros. • Why am I saying all this about “Excel Online”, because the solution I designed for one of my client is: macro runs in a local computer which uploads a limited version in the online & users use that file via specific URL. • Another solution is to do it is by “Google Sheets”. “Google Sheet” is like “Excel Online” but it supports macro. Issue is macro language is not VBA so most of the time a complete replica of an excel macro cannot be coded in “Google Sheets”. Please initiate a chat to discuss more before awarding the project. I'm not sure what you have in mind for an online version, but I have extensive experience with coding in VBA as well as google sheets - google sheets is a pretty robust online spreadsheet, especially when it comes to shared access like what you describe. Google sheets scripting uses Javascript rather than VBA but as mentioned - I've used both a lot. It would depend on the details of what your existing sheet actually does though - google sheets are great, but they can't quite do everything that Excel can do
