I need a Linux script that will move files named *.service from the user home directory and into /etc/systemd/system, set the correct permissions, enable them (there may be multiple .service files) and echo start/stop permissions into /etc/sudoers.d/DEV. One problem is [login to view URL] will be executed in this fashion: $sudo /bin/[login to view URL] Because of this, it cannot use $HOME because elevating the script will change home to the root $HOME. Maybe passing a user parameter is a solution? $sudo /bin/[login to view URL] bob (ex. /home/bob/) Prototype: chown root:root $HOME/*.service chmod 755 $HOME/*.service mv $HOME/*.service /etc/systemd/system systemctl enable $[login to view URL] echo "group ALL=PASSWD: /bin/systemctl start serviceName" >> /etc/sudoers.d/DEV echo "group ALL=PASSWD: /bin/systemctl stop seviceName" >> /etc/sudoers.d/DEV
