Hi, I have experience with development boards from both ST and Arduino, I've also been working with mbed in C/C++ and wireless communication. I'm genuinely interested in your project and would love to collaborate. My plan is to start by discussing which methods could we use to determine the location of the bed, I've some ideas in mind but still need some more details from you. After that we could just proceed to place a pressure sensor under the bed to read its status and using an affordable WiFi module along with one of your development boards, we can connect to a Local Area Network inside the Hospital to deliver the data to the server. Once that is done we can polish the server and create a friendly User Interface to display each bead and it's status. I also have similar hardware that I can use to compare and test results so I will be able to help you with the hardware deployment as well. The project seems challenging and lots of fun.

I've done similar projects on my STM32 Discovery board with STM32F407VGT6 chip. On a daily basis I work with embedded systems (programming in C, linux). Moreover I've done many projects using arduino, esp8266 for iot applications.
