Software to Change Exif/Metadata in Jpeg files

We need a software/script to monitor a windows folder for incoming jpegs tethered to a camera. The user would enter the name and possible title of the subject into 3 EXIF/metadata fields, whilst selecting from 1-10 images simultaneously. We photograph University Students throughout the UK, the student would arrive to have several photographs taken of them. The camera is tethered to the laptop the download of images is handled by another software to a designated folder. Once the images have been taken a member of staff will input their name into the following 2 fields and a possible 3rd field for there student tiltle. 1. File name = Student Name 2. Camera Maker = Student Name 3. Camera Model = Position If there are more than 1 image is selected then all 3 fields will be applied to all the selected files. Step 1. Jpeg Images would arrive into a windows folder from a tethered camera. The user would make an overall folder of the subjects taken within that folder i.e. Netball 2nd Team. Step 2. After the game the player would come to the laptop and we would like to select all their related images and then add their name (Sally Smith) into the file name field and also the Camera Maker: Sally Smith simultaneously into one or more selected jpegs. Fig 2 Step 2a. Sometimes we would like to add their position as well i.e. Captain into the Camera Model Field. If we do not use their position the software should automatically blank out the Camera Model Field Fig 2a i.e. Emily Birch After step 2 have been completed we would move the images into their named folder see Fig 2b (we can do this manually for simplicity unless you have a better way) Step 3. The only information we would like to see is the File name field, the Camera Maker Field and the Camera Model Field if these can be renamed to: File name field, the Camera Maker Field renamed to “Student Name” And Camera Model Field renamed to “Position” See Fig 3
