Down page weight selectors -
we need to add a new selector to down pages for pillows (soft / medium / firm) and for comforters (winter weight / all-season / summer weight). We could do something similar to the sheets pages and their color selector (see parachute example) but will defer to your judgment on best UX.
Additional pop-up guides -
We need to add informational pop-ups to the down and mattress pages, similar to the sheets "size guide". Link should say "size / weight guide" for down and "mattress specs" for the mattress. Info for all sizes is attached. Separately we're adding more content to the scrolls to help customers choose the correct weight
Bedding category page -
Can we shrink the size of the thumbnails to fit more products on one screen. Maybe 3 across instead of 2 across? I want to make it faster for users to scroll down and understand how many items are on the page. Can we also reduce the empty space between the product description and the button? With our shorter product descriptions it ends up feeling a little empty (see here).
Top nav bedding dropdown -
Would it make sense to have the different categories dropdown from the 'BEDDING' heading in the main nav when you hover over? That's how parachute handles it. If you hover over 'Bedding' it displays a list of subcategories. Then if you click on bedding it takes you to a landing page with everything displayed, and if you click on a subcategory then only those products are displayed. If we had a similar dropdown (maybe Cotton sheets / Linen sheets / Down Pillows / Down Comforters) it would make it clearer to shoppers what we offer. Then if they click on cotton or linen then it goes to a landing page with all variants shown, and if they click on pillows or comforters it can go straight to the product page.
