That is a completely different thing from adding MFA, tokenized access or RBAC around a one time payment flow, and the brief reads like it is asking for both at once. Worth separating those before any build starts, because the auth window fix lives almost entirely on the Stripe integration side, while the access control layer is its own piece of work sitting in front of or around checkout. If it is the Stripe side, I would confirm the capture window needed, extend authorization at PaymentIntent creation with the right capture method, and add the retry and expiry handling so a late capture does not silently fail. If it is the access control side, I would scope RBAC roles and token issuance around the payment step, wire in MFA at the point that actually needs gating rather than everywhere, and keep it decoupled from Stripe so it does not get tangled with the payment logic itself. Either way I would want to lock which of the two this actually is before milestone 1 starts, since the two builds barely overlap. Given the brief mixes both together, 500 GBP over 6 days is my starting number based on what is written, and it will need firming up once I agree which layer this actually is, since that decision changes the shape of the whole build.
