I’m nearing completion of an automated RCC design tool that cuts the usual hand-calculation time down to minutes. Before I take it to market I need a certified structural engineer, well-versed in IS codes, to rigorously test every nook of the engine and confirm that the results are code-compliant and practically sound. Scope of the check – The software currently designs beams, columns, slabs , footing and can run a full-building analysis. – It should be assessed strictly against the latest IS (Indian Standards) provisions for reinforced concrete. – I want a deep-dive validation report, not a cursory overview: show representative input sets, trace the internal logic, compare my output with your hand or spreadsheet checks, and cite the exact IS clauses that govern each step. – Any discrepancy should be paired with clear recommendations on how to align the algorithm or output formatting with the code. Deliverables 1. A detailed calculation package (PDF or Excel) demonstrating independent checks. 2. A narrative report that: • flags deviations from IS code, • explains why they occur, and • recommends concrete fixes. 3. A brief call or written memo summarising overall readiness and next steps. Acceptance criteria The job is complete once every tested element falls within code-permitted limits or I understand precisely what revisions are needed to reach compliance.
