I am seeking a person with a civil engineering background or experience and understanding with experience in documenting engineering experience and projects to assist in preparing an application for engineering certification. The project involves gathering and documenting the experience of a practicing civil engineer through various sources, including existing documents and few online meetings with him. Key Responsibilities * Gather Information: Summarize documents outlining the engineer's past experiences and projects to be inputted in the final submission format. * Conduct Interviews: Meet with the engineer in a remote/online meeting to discuss recent, undocumented experiences and take detailed notes. * Document Experiences: Write professional descriptions of the engineer's projects and experiences in a clear, well-structured format suitable for the certification application. * Finalize Documentation: Ensure all documentation is professionally worded and meets the required format for submission. Requirements * Background in Civil Engineering: A degree/certification in civil engineering or related field. Or well established experience in the civil engineering field. * Experience in Civil Engineering: Proven experience in civil engineering projects is preferred. * Geotechnical Engineering and Material Testing Experience: While not mandatory, experience in these areas is highly preferred. * Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to speak with the person in english, and write clearly and professionally in English. Project Details * Timeline: Approximately two weeks. * Workload: Estimated 15 hours per week, and this depends on your work pace but estimated about 15h/ week. * Payment Structure: Combination of hourly rate and flat payment, with a focus on flat payment. Deliverables * Professionally written descriptions of the engineer's experiences and projects in the format requested for the submission.
