Hi, I am an ISTQB certified software tester with more than 7 years of experience in software testing and test automation. I work as an QA to constructively break the software/ application under test and report as many bugs as possible. I report them with great details so that it is easy for developers to reproduce it. Like Login, Registration, My Account, Dashboard, etc. 2. Pick up one feature at a time and try to use that feature in all possible ways covering both positive and negative scenarios. 3. My bid depends on how big (# of pages, size of pages, and amount of testable details). Without knowing it is essentially impossible to bid fairly. Unless the website is very small, $250 is a reasonable bid. I have 40yrs of Quality Assurance / testing experience. I document everything I plan to do, that I actually do, and what my results are. I begin with documented requirements / specs / design / emails / notes / whatever, to determine what is expected to occur. I then map what exists / happens on the website to these expectations to gap what is missing - expected but not on website / on website but is not expected. While mapping, I verify / confirm that the expectations have been met by what is on the website / how the website processes information. Any disconnect is identified and documented for triage - it becomes an issue or a non-issue. I have a resume to show my experience.
