I already have a ZK-Time attendance device installed in our small retail store and the ZKBio Time software is running, but it is still on its default settings. What I need is a one-time configuration so the system can automatically generate clear attendance reports that show how many hours each employee has worked, both on a daily basis and as a monthly total. Our situation in brief • Employees do not clock in or out at the exact same times every day; someone might work 7 am–6 pm one day and 11 am–5 pm the next. • The staff follows what is essentially a fixed schedule in the sense that each person works one continuous block per day, but the actual start and finish times vary. • I am unsure whether we should separate regular hours from overtime, so I would appreciate your guidance on the best way to set that up in the software. • I want the finished reports available as digital files—PDF and Excel exports are perfect, no printed copies required. Your tasks 1. Configure ZKBio Time (latest stable release) so the device communicates smoothly with the software. 2. Set up the attendance rules so daily and monthly total-hours calculations reflect our flexible arrival and departure times. 3. Enable easy exporting of those reports to PDF and Excel with a single click. 4. Walk me through the basic steps in a short handover document or screen-share so I can pull future reports myself. Acceptance criteria • For at least two recent pay periods, a daily and monthly report shows accurate total hours for each employee when compared with raw punches. • Exports open cleanly in Excel and PDF with no formatting issues. • Any overtime differentiation options are clearly documented, even if we decide not to use them now.
