Through researching (old) creative works such as those produced by authors such as Walter De La Mare, its come to my attention that due to lack of ISBN and publishing that the work is decaying quickly and never reached proper international syndication.
I would like to provide a service to my neighbors by having some of the (completely and legally out of copyright) information scribed onto quality paper so that it can be put into PDF format. I would also like the winning programmer to search the site [url removed, login to view] to find free hand drawn illustrations to help complement the work.
The result will be a canonization of select poetry and short stories that can be re-distributed under the creative commons attribute for free, and translated.
I'm willing to put a little bit of money into the effort to get it started but am quite busy myself, so I'm hoping to enlist some affordable help.
Please bid to copy 10 poems from the web, by hand, in this manner. The poems will be about 1 page in length each. Simply searching for authors such as Walter De La Mare will give you an idea of the type of work that I hope to 'rescue'.
I am not asking for discounted bids due to the chariatable nature of the project. Please ensure that you bid enough to compensate yourself for the time spent in this process, it may be a little more time consuming than you think.
Your penmanship has to be extremely, extremely neat. Skills in Calligraphy (those of a scribe) are desirable.
Future projects such as this (as money permits) will involve the re-canonization of many childrens works and translations into SE Asian languages, the work never appears to have made it past Europe and the US in any significance. This is unfortunate.
I have 'hidden' bids on this project so that one does not influence the other, but please bid for correct compensation for your efforts.
