We are a Human Resources Consultancy based in the US that designs and develops training for Corporate Human Resources Recruiters around the world.
We are in need of someone who can serve as a "Candidate" telephone actor.
Prior to the training we do on-site, the "Candidate" telephone actor would receive information and an orientation on their "role". We would provide the actor with a sample job vacancy announcement/job description for a job that the recruiters we are training will be looking to recruit for. In addition, we will provide a real CV of someone who was really hired into that role to each actor. We will also provide sample questions that recruiters might ask a candidate.
Your job will be to study the information we provided in advance, study the job vacancy announcement/job description and the CV. You will "become" the person on the CV.
During the on-site training, you will be scheduled for an approximate time window to be called three times by a trainee recruiter. You will be the "candidate" they are trying to recruit. Each trainee recruiter will have to call a "candidate" using a speaker phone in the training room. You will role play with the trainee recruiter, serving as the candidate they are trying to recruit.
The role play is unique because we set up the situation as the "candidate" did not "apply" for the job vacancy, but they were "sourced" or found by the recruiter using online tools and CV databases... so, you as the "candidate" don't know who this company is or why they are calling initially... the recruiter trainee has to do some work to build a relationship with you.
During the role play, you will be next to your computer, and signed into a messaging system (Skype) so that our on-site training facilitators can communicate with you confidentially via computer instant messaging guiding you on what to say and how to respond.
For each training we do... you will have the following responsibilities:
1. Participate in about a 30-45 minute telephone orientation.
2. Participate in a trainee recruiter call as a "candidate" during a 10-15 minute initial role play via telephone.
3. Participate in a trainee recruiter call as a "candidate" during a 15-20 minute telephone interview role play.
4. Participate in a short 5-10 minute feedback call at the end of the training session where you will provide feedback as your "real self" to the trainee about what worked well and what did not work well.
We conduct these training sessions all over the world. Generally, time zones are important deciding factors for us. For the next training sessions, we will need people in South American time zones.
You must be a native Portuguese (Brasilian) speaker with excellent English skills.
The training is conducted in English to an international audience. Although English is primarily a second language for most trainees, the language of the business is English. All training materials are in English.
You will answer the role play calls in Portuguese, and initially conduct the call in Portuguese, but the trainee recruiter will ask if it is okay to continue the call in English, and then the call and the rest of the role plays will be in English.
If you have any experience as a recruiter, Human Resources professional, or hiring manager, it would be helpful, but not required. We have ongoing needs for this type of work 1-4 times per year. The budget is per training session. If you do more than one session, you would receive the same fixed budget price.
