We are looking for an experienced Croatian (or Serbian) to English (GB) translator who is well-versed in translating official/administrative documents for the translation of a two-page Croatian wedding certificate and the corresponding apostille document.
The documents are not very technical but we require somebody who can translate into fluent English and is familiar with the terminology used in this context.
The translation should be a new Microsoft Word document that approximates the look of the original with respect to design, tables, text boxes, fonts, etc.
Our standard font is Arial. Please use this font in most circumstances unless something specifically looks like Times New Roman or Courier, then use those fonts. Please use cursive Arial for handwritten parts, should there be any.
Please use [square brackets] to describe visual elements, such as stamps, logos, seals, photos, signatures, etc. E.g.: [signature], [photo], [stamp: "school name" ....], etc. These references should be made in Arial too.
For in-text dates, use the format 14 March 2019, 3 September 1999, etc. Otherwise, use the format DD/MM/YYYY.
Please deliver this by Thursday at the latest.
This should be a relatively quick job but will be followed by lots more work of various kinds. We are really looking for somebody for a long-term partnership and will be providing regular work.
