I’m looking to have an automated trading bot written entirely in TypeScript that connects directly to the Solana blockchain. The goal is to compile, deploy and run the program on a VPS or bare-metal server so it can execute trades 24/7 with low latency. The core build should rely on the standard Solana [login to view URL] tool-chain, and it must be cleanly structured so new strategies can be swapped in without touching the base order-routing logic. I will provide wallet keys, RPC endpoints and any exchange or DEX API credentials once development starts. You will handle: • Writing the trading engine: market-data subscriptions, order book tracking, order placement and risk checks • A configuration layer (JSON or YAML) that lets me switch pairs, position size, slippage tolerance and timing windows without changing code • Persistent logging plus a simple CLI or REST endpoint that shows current positions, PnL and recent fills • Unit tests for the critical path and a short README that walks through local setup, compile, deployment and cron scheduling The finished bot should compile under Node 18+, be lint-clean with ESLint/Prettier, and run comfortably on a 1 vCPU / 2 GB instance. Please include examples of past Solana or TypeScript trading projects, a rough timeline and any questions you need answered before you start.

Hi — Elias here from Miami. I understand you're looking to develop an automated trading bot in TypeScript for the Solana blockchain. The main goal is to ensure reliable and efficient operation in a dynamic trading environment. What usually matters most here is handling real-time data feeds and executing trades without lag. A common issue in these systems is effectively managing state, especially during trade execution and error handling. It looks straightforward initially, but API integration and performance can introduce complexities. My approach would involve structuring the bot for stability and maintainability. I'd build a modular architecture to allow easy updates as trading strategies evolve, with robust logging and monitoring for troubleshooting. I've developed trading bots and blockchain applications, giving me insight into the unique challenges and requirements. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – What specific trading strategies do you intend to implement? Q2 – Are there particular APIs or external data sources you plan to integrate? Q3 – How do you envision managing user roles and permissions for the bot? Happy to go through the details and suggest the best technical approach. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, I'm Denis, a full-stack developer with experience building TypeScript-based trading systems and automation tools on blockchain networks. I understand you need a lean, production-ready trading bot that runs continuously on minimal infrastructure while remaining flexible for strategy testing. The core challenge is clean separation between your market data layer, order execution engine, and strategy logic. You'll need reliable WebSocket subscriptions for order book synchronization, bulletproof risk checks before orders execute, and a configuration system for parameter iterations. Monitoring visibility into fills, slippage, and execution failures is equally important. I've built similar systems handling real-time data streams and clean infrastructure separation. My approach: build the market data subscription layer first, then the order routing engine with risk framework, integrate your configuration loader, add monitoring, and thoroughly test critical paths before deployment. A key technical consideration is managing WebSocket reconnection and state recovery. If the connection drops mid-trade, your bot must know exactly what positions exist on-chain versus locally. I'd solve this through persistent state tracking and idempotent order logic. One practical risk: RPC endpoint reliability. Solana nodes can be flaky, so I'd build fallback endpoint support and retry logic from the start rather than adding it later when live. I need clarity on: which DEX you're targeting (Jup

Getting a trading bot to run 24/7 on Solana with low latency is never easy, especially when each strategy update risks breaking your routing logic or halting trades. It is a real headache when you need flexibility and reliability, but most bots force you to dig into their core just to adjust pairs or risk settings. You can expect a modular TypeScript bot that compiles cleanly, swaps strategies painlessly, and gives you real-time position and PnL visibility through a simple interface. First, I will build a robust engine that tracks market data and orders directly from Solana using Web3.js. Then, I will add a configuration layer so you can tweak pairs, risk, and timing without code changes. Finally, I will set up persistent logs and a lightweight CLI or REST endpoint for instant status checks. Is there any particular DEX or exchange API you want prioritized first for integration?

Perfect Match "24/7 LOW-LATENCY SOLANA TRADING" — you need a TypeScript bot that can monitor markets and execute trades reliably on a small VPS. I’d keep strategy logic separate from order routing, with configurable pairs, sizing, slippage and timing. I’d also add persistent logs, risk checks and a lightweight position/PnL view so failures are easy to trace.

Hi, I understand you're looking to develop a TypeScript trading bot for the Solana blockchain, with a focus on deploying it on a VPS or bare-metal server to ensure 24/7 low-latency trading. Ensuring the bot is modular enough to allow new strategies to be integrated without altering the core is a crucial aspect of this project. A key technical challenge will be achieving low latency in trade execution, which requires optimizing API calls and managing network reliability. My approach would be to first assess the network conditions and prioritize efficient handling of asynchronous operations using Node.js. Additionally, structuring the codebase to separate strategy logic from the core trading engine will be vital for maintaining flexibility and scalability. I have extensive experience with Node.js and API integration, having developed several automated trading systems that required similar architectural considerations. Q1 – Could you specify which trading strategies you are initially looking to implement? Q2 – Are there specific performance metrics or latency thresholds you aim to achieve? Q3 – What are the security requirements, especially concerning private key management and transaction signing? Looking forward to hearing from you.

:) Hello, I'm Ricardo from Buenos Aires. :) What you have isn't mainly a blockchain development problem, it's a trading-engine reliability problem. The bot needs clean separation between market data, strategy logic and order routing so new strategies can be added without destabilizing execution. I would first structure the TypeScript engine around market subscriptions, positions, risk checks and order routing. Then I would add the configuration layer for pairs, sizing, slippage and timing, followed by persistent logging and the CLI/REST monitoring layer. Next I would add critical-path tests and validate failure handling. Finally I would package the Node 18+ deployment for the VPS with clear setup documentation. I would keep strategy modules independent from the execution layer so future strategies can be swapped safely. Which Solana DEX or execution venue should the first strategy target? I can sketch the strategy-to-order-routing architecture before you decide anything. Free, no commitment. If you want, I can share examples of my previous projects here on Freelancer.com.

You need a low-latency Solana trading bot in TypeScript with modular strategy logic, reliable order routing, persistent monitoring, and 24/7 VPS deployment. I’m a strong fit for this because my production stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, WebSockets, API integrations, and VPS/Docker deployments, which map directly to the trading engine and infrastructure you described. I’ll structure the bot so strategies can be swapped independently from execution/routing, with configurable pairs, sizing, slippage, timing windows, risk checks, logging, position/PnL monitoring, tests, and deployment documentation. I’ll also keep the runtime lightweight for your 1 vCPU / 2 GB target. Can you confirm which Solana DEX or exchange the bot will execute trades through?

Hi ✅ 2 things stood out: - Strategies decoupled from order routing - lean enough for a 1 vCPU / 2 GB box. Both fit a pure TypeScript build. The bot trades against existing DEX programs, so no on-chain Rust is needed. ✅ My plan: a core engine (WebSocket market data, order book tracking via Phoenix/OpenBook, Jupiter routing, risk checks) behind a Strategy interface, so new strategies drop in as one file. YAML config, pino logging, a small REST endpoint for positions/PnL/fills, Jest tests on the critical path, ESLint/Prettier clean, run under pm2/systemd. ✅ Timeline: ~3 weeks. Week 1 engine + config, week 2 execution + risk, week 3 tests, CLI/REST, docs, VPS deploy. ✅ Questions: - Which DEXs/pairs first? - Latency target: seconds, or competing for same-slot fills (Jito bundles)? - Will you supply the strategy logic, or should I build a first one? Stephen~

Hello, how is it going? I understand you need a production-oriented TypeScript Solana trading bot that runs continuously on a VPS, separates strategy logic from order routing, supports configurable pairs/position sizing/slippage/timing, tracks market data and fills, and exposes positions/PnL through a simple interface, and I’m ready to build the engine around Solana Web3.js. The main technical challenge is keeping low-latency execution reliable while enforcing risk controls and making strategies replaceable; I’d structure the system into market-data adapters, strategy interfaces, risk management, order routing, persistence and monitoring, use WebSocket subscriptions with efficient state handling, keep credentials in environment variables, and provide JSON/YAML configuration with structured logging and recovery handling. I’d add unit tests around order construction, validation and risk checks, verify Node 18+ compatibility, ESLint/Prettier cleanliness, and document VPS deployment, process management and monitoring. Estimated timeline: 1–2 weeks depending on the target DEX/API and trading logic. A quick question: which Solana DEX or execution protocol should the first version integrate with (for example, Jupiter or a specific order-book DEX)? Looking forward to working with you.

Hello, client — ⭐ I can build and optimize your Solana trading bot with a focus on fast, reliable execution and safe transaction handling rather than simply connecting a few APIs. ⭐ With 10+ years across TypeScript, Node.js, real-time APIs, automation, and blockchain integrations, I can structure the bot around Solana/RPC interaction, transaction construction, priority fees, confirmation handling, retries, and real-time market signals. I’ll first map the trading strategy and execution flow, then implement the TypeScript services, wallet/transaction layer, market-data integration, and monitoring while protecting against duplicate orders, stale quotes, failed confirmations, RPC instability, and race conditions. I’ll validate the bot through controlled testing and paper/test execution where supported before production deployment, with clean source code and configuration documentation for ongoing maintenance. Best regards, Darial

A low-latency Solana trading bot lives or dies on two things that are easy to underestimate, so I will be specific about both. First, the RPC endpoint is the real bottleneck and the real risk, not the TypeScript. A public RPC will rate-limit and lag, and a bot trading on stale order-book data loses money quietly. So this needs a dedicated RPC like Helius or Triton, and the engine has to treat the connection as unreliable, detect stale or dropped data and refuse to trade on it rather than acting on a bad snapshot. That single decision matters more than any strategy. Second, and where most Solana bots are subtly broken: never trust the send, confirm the fill. Solana transactions can fail to land, land late, or expire on blockhash, so the bot must submit with priority fees, then confirm on-chain that the trade actually executed before it updates its position. Paired with that, order submission has to be idempotent, so a retry during congestion can never double your position. Risk checks, slippage and size caps are enforced in code before every send, not trusted to config alone. On structure, exactly as you asked: strategies sit behind a clean interface so new ones swap in without touching order routing, and config in YAML drives pairs, size, slippage and timing. One security note: the wallet key on a VPS can drain the account, so I keep it in an environment keystore, never in the repo, with the bot the only process that reads it. I can start immediately. Thank you. Zdenko

Hello, For a Solana trading bot, the main challenge is usually not sending transactions but building a reliable execution pipeline that handles real-time market changes, slippage, failed transactions, and risk controls without manual intervention. How are you planning to define strategy boundaries and execution safeguards so new strategies can be added without affecting the core trading engine? I’d approach this with a modular TypeScript architecture: separate market data ingestion, strategy modules, risk management, order routing, and monitoring layers, with configurable parameters and clear logging for 24/7 operation. I’ve built production backend systems involving TypeScript/Node.js, real-time APIs, blockchain integrations, automation workflows, trading-related data pipelines, and VPS deployments, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and performance. I’d be glad to help build a clean Solana trading framework that can support multiple strategies over time.
