Hi, I’m a Senior Network Engineer with 20+ years in networking and infrastructure integration. I have gone through your specific requirement for UniFi access point setup I built something like this for software and infrastructure clients, with 20+ years across network connected platforms. I would use UniFi Controller managed configuration over standalone AP setup because centralized channel and access control settings are easier to maintain as coverage changes. I will configure the UniFi APs with planned ceiling placement and wired backhaul where available. I will tune channels and transmit power after checking the actual coverage, then configure access control around your network needs. And I will test roaming and connectivity from real client devices, at least that is where I would start. Relevant networking and infrastructure samples I can send.
