I am experiencing connectivity and performance issues between my UniFi network and Sonos system. The majority of the Sonos devices and I am receiving Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) alerts due to network loops. I need an experienced UniFi & Sonos network specialist to diagnose and resolve these issues. System Overview: Approx. 30 Sonos devices, with 70% hardwired (I prefer as many as possible to stay wired for responsiveness). SonosNet Channel 6 is isolated from UniFi APs. Ubiquiti UniFi APs have static, non-overlapping channels assigned per device. AP Mesh Mode is disabled. UniFi Network Configuration: Router: Dream Machine Pro (UDM Pro) Switches: USW Pro 48 PoE (Main Switch) – STP Priority 4096 IUS - NC - Switch Pro 48 PoE USW Lite 8 PoE (Sub Switches) – STP Priority 8192 IDS - Office Desk (USW Lite 8 PoE) IDS - Living Room AV Cabinet (USW Lite 8 PoE) Access Points (APs): IDS – Foyer (U6 Enterprise) IDS - Living Room (U6 Enterprise) IUS – Hallway (U6 LR) ODS - Front Soffit (U6 LR) ODS - Upstairs South Soffit (U6 LR) ODS - Backyard (U6 LR) Current Issues: Slow Response in Sonos App (iOS iPhone version 18.3.1 ) Unifi shows randomly that a port has been blocked due to loopback issues. Sonos devices occasionally lose sync or stutter. Goal: The problem has been hard for me to diagnose and this is really my only experience with Unifi / Sonos. I feel like I’m missing something simple and just want this fully optimized and working smoothly at this point. If you're confident in troubleshooting UniFi/Sonos setups, lets start.
