I am an artist having basic experience in Unity, and would love to create a game based on my art style and vision.
I have purchased an unity asset - Arcade Car Controller multiplayer recently
And I have been working on a racing game idea, and require the help of an experienced coder to develop few customs scripts/functionalities.
I shall share the project files with complete source codes, and you would need to study and understand the coding used in this asset to develop my requirements.
Some of the additions I am looking to add are:
1. Add new regimes like Time trial, Lap Knockout, Speed Trap, Checkpoint, Elimination & A to B races. The existing regimes included are Drift and basic circuit race.
2. A more advanced AI, that can overtake player and other AIs. I can provide the logic for this from another asset I have. But it needs to be coded correctly into this asset.
The AI decisions will be configured based on a scriptable object configurations.
3. Nitro/Boost for player & Ai (I have already implemented the same, it needs to be debugged for any errors.)
4. The circuit waypoint to be modified to include branching or multiple routes for AI to follow.
5. The concept of the game would involve portals than open up randomly during a race that would teleport player & ai to another location. The portal logic and teleporting has been implemented. The AI will need to now use the circuit waypoints of the new location to continue the race. Also the camera follow the player upon portal triggering is to be coded. These logics needs to be implemented.
Additional works can be discussed and arrived at extra cost once the above core logic system is implemented and tested.
