Modify VR Livestream App -- 2

We are 3 recent mechanical engineering graduates who have an idea in the wrong field! We have been using Unity to create a VR live-streaming application for an android phone. We have been successful at creating the application, but need some help to refine our project. We would like to be able to sit and comfortably read a book while wearing a VR headset. Our current issue is that although we can create a live-streaming application for our VR headset, we want the livestream to be 1) clearer/sharper, 2) autofocus on the center of the livestream, 3) able to zoom in on, or magnify, the stream in real time (the google daydream we are using has a remote). We don't need to be able to zoom in on something from across the room, we would just like to be able to comfortably read a book at arms length. Our livestream just uses the phone's camera. Attached is the script we are using for the livestream.
