I would like to have a mobile application that will generate a set of 3D animated character based on 2 key requirements; 1. A unique code is entered by the user when the application is opened 2. The camera is pointed at a target logo. (This will be a credit card sized print out, with a logo on one side. 3 targets in total, each creating a unique character) Once the phone is pointed at a target, a 3D character will appear and an audio file will play. The user will view each 3D character by pointing to a different target and listen to each audio file. The user will then have the option to pick one of the characters. Once selected the character will be saved on the app, and I will receive feedback (via email) on what character was selected. Now saved, the 3D character will have more functionality as it can be controlled by the user. A joystick allows user to move them around and another button makes the character perform a special move. At this stage the characters do not need to be anything specific. If designed in unity, I can pay for existing designs from the asset store so don't be put off by having to create unique animated 3D designs. I am more interested in having the process designed to enable the user to select out of 3, receive feedback on what was selected, and have that character saved on their app to play with whenever they want. Ideally you can code in a language that is cross platform as I would like the app to be available on iOS and Android. QUERIES: -- Once the user has saved the character on the device, and then he should be able to play with the character without the target image OR do he still requires the target image to be scanned first? -- When you say users can play with the character whenever they want, what things are covered under the word "PLAY"? -- Will all the targets be on the same print out or different print-outs? Hello! I was interested to read your project description for the AR app and I believe I have the skills and experience to deliver this to a high standard for you. I am Lead AR/VR Developer at an awarding-winning immersive studio based in the UK. I am in the process of creating a series of very similar AR projects (mainly for tourism applications) that are using geolocation, gamification and cross-platform AR. In terms of experience I have 5 years Unity and C# experience. I am officially certified by Unity and Microsoft for C#. NET (check out my profile for details). Hi, my name is Yegor. I am from Belarus (near Poland and Ukraine). I am currently actively using augmented reality technologies for browsers (WebAR) and can demonstrate my 3D and AR-portfolio. I believe that You can use WebAR technology so that the user doesn't need to download apps, i.e. they will just open your site in the browser and the camera will turn on. Then the camera recognizes the placemark and shows the 3D-character. You can of course do this in the app, but then user will need to download it first. I would appreciate your response.
