The job can be tiring and sometimes stressful, especially during busy evenings or weekends with large audiences. However, there are also quieter moments between screenings that allow time to breathe and organize tasks. The employee must handle customers, ensure that theaters remain clean and functional, and occasionally assist coworkers during peak hours. Despite financial stress and irregular working hours, this job provides stability and a concrete way to remain independent. The main objective is simple: earn enough to pay rent, cover daily needs, and avoid financial problems, while trying to maintain a balance between work, studies, or other personal activities. Commuting Phase (Home → Work) The character travels from home to the cinema using different transportation options: Bus: 3 seconds ($1.5 cost) Bike / Skateboard: 30 seconds (free) There is a 15% chance that the bus is delayed by 30 seconds, and the player is not informed in advance. Arrival & Transition Once at the cinema, the character changes into their employee uniform. The color of the uniform depends on the specific cinema location. Transition time: 1 second. On-Site Tasks The character may be assigned different roles depending on hierarchy decisions 33% each : Cleaning (toilett, floor, rooms) I’d like the theater to have a section listing all the movies and their showtimes, including the ending [login to view URL] way, the player will know when to head to the theater room to clean. Working at the snack bar register Working at the ticket counter There is also a stock refill mechanic, including restocking drinks, popcorn, candy, etc. Cash Register Mechanics The player must: Handle cash payments Give correct change [login to view URL] Accept card payments [login to view URL] The mechanic should feel interactive and skill-based (similar in style to the reference you provided), where precision. Progression Loop The better you perform your tasks, the more customers the cinema attracts. You earn experience points (XP) to level up and gain promotions. Higher rank and better income unlock new opportunities. Eventually, if you earn enough money and rise in rank, you can open your own cinema.
