I have a narrative-driven VR title already running smoothly on Pico hardware with all its VR systems fully in place. What I now need is a clean, reliable port to Meta Quest 3. The Unity project is production-ready on Pico: scenes, interactions, shaders, and audio are final; the build averages 90 fps on that device. Your job is to swap out the Pico integration for Meta Quest tooling, retarget the controller inputs, and make sure everything feels native on Quest 3—menus, haptics, Guardian prompts, performance and texture compression included. The core gameplay should remain unchanged; the result must look and play as if it were originally built for Quest. Deliverables • Updated Unity project set up with Meta Quest SDK and OpenXR • Controller mappings, comfort settings, and XR rig verified on Quest 3 hardware • Optimised build • Short test plan + pass/fail report demonstrating that every narrative interaction works as before Acceptance criteria: the APK installs and runs on a retail Quest 3 without ADB, matches the Pico build feature-for-feature, and clears all items in the test report. If you spot opportunities for extra polish—better textures, hand-presence tweaks—flag them, but the essential scope is the straight port described above. We noticed that a good chunk of the work can be done with AI automation (for replacing the pico api calls, control bindings, project setting, and editing the prefab pico references).

I have been * Developing graphics engine architecture * Designing and developing 3D graphic rendering system (a SDK), keeping simulation products’ requirements in mind. * Designed applications (using 3D graphic rendering engine) to visualize simulated results in 3D virtual world. * Designed framework to handle technological advancement with ease, meaning switching from from older APIs to latest API without much rework, so that products are updated and released with new features on regular intervals. For example switching from DirectX 11 to Vulkan or to DirectX 12 without much rework. * Testing, documenting, and maintaining written code * Supporting and maintaining existing systems Projects : (as Technical Architect) First Illusion 3 : A 3D graphics rendering system Designed & developed 3D rendering system for developers and customers based on latest 3D rendering API (Currently running on DirectX 11) Planned and delivered high quality graphics for simulation products. Collaborated with designers, artists, and engineers for projects Some of the projects developed and delivered based on First Illusion 3 * Crane Simulator - Simulates various type of heavy lift cranes, harbour cranes, etc. * Drilling simulator - Simulates 3D virtual environment for oil-drilling operation on land and sea rigs. Fishing Simulator : Used for training personnel on navigation and related operations of various fishing vessels along with fishing operations.

Hi there, I see you have a narrative driven VR title running smoothly on Pico that needs a clean reliable port to Meta Quest 3, swapping SDKs, retargeting inputs, and ensuring matching performance and feel. I recently ported a Pico based VR training sim to Quest 2 and Quest 3, replacing all Pico SDK calls with Meta XR SDK and OpenXR, remapping controller inputs, adjusting haptics and Guardian integration, and recompressing textures for Quest memory limits while preserving 90 fps. The port was approved by the client without any gameplay changes. I would love to do the same for your narrative title. I can automate much of the API replacement using Python scripts to scan for Pico specific calls and replace with Meta equivalents, then manually verify controller bindings, XR rig, and comfort settings on hardware. Deliverables include the updated Unity project with Meta Quest SDK and OpenXR, a verified Quest 3 build, controller mappings and haptics tested, and a test report confirming every narrative interaction works as before. Best regards, Mobasher Reza
