You’ll be free to leverage UE5 features—Nanite, Lumen, World Partition, Chaos physics—to push visual fidelity and performance, but the priority is rock-solid gameplay that rewards curiosity. Your background should include shipping or prototyping large-scale UE projects, ideally RPGs, where you handled or oversaw systems such as traversal, dynamic world streaming, AI-driven encounters, and player progression. Comfort collaborating with artists and narrative designers is essential, as our branching storylines will need hooks throughout the environment. Key deliverables I’d like to see over the first milestones: • A playable vertical slice showcasing core exploration, combat placeholder, and save/load across streamed sub-levels. • Extensible framework for quests, inventory, and character progression, documented and blueprint-friendly. • Performance metrics that demonstrate stable 60 fps on a mid-tier PC spec and dev kits for at least one console.
