I already have a fully rigged, strand-based hairy humanoid that performs flawlessly inside Daz3D; the groom behaves exactly as intended there. My goal is to move this asset into Unreal Engine 5 so it looks and acts the same inside Sequencer. The work involves importing the character as a skeletal mesh, preserving the strand hair as a groom asset with correct materials, and setting up physics that deliver the natural movement, sway, and motion-responsive dynamics I see in Daz. I will send you the complete Daz project, FBX exports, and all original animation files. The walking cycle and several bespoke animations must come across with perfect bone orientation and root motion, and I want the main walk cycle playing as a continuous loop in UE5 for verification. To prove everything blends correctly, set up a simple Sequencer shot where the character follows a spline path. If you tweak plugins, project settings, or hidden checkboxes along the way, jot them down so I can repeat the workflow next time.
