I’m building a mod for The Isle Evrima and need help turning two ideas into game-ready features. First, I want a dedicated “Create Skin” menu that lets players pick precise colours, swap between preset patterns, and watch the changes update instantly on a 3D preview of their dinosaur. All UI art is on my side; you wire it up so selections alter the relevant material instances and save correctly to the user’s profile via steam ID Second, the storage mod should be able to save a players current dino so they can come back at a later time after playing something else and continue on with the dino they had saved I’ll test on a private server and sign off once the menu displays all three requested options (color, pattern, preview) and the stored dinos persist through a map reload without errors.

Hi, I can help you implement both the skin creation system and the dino persistence/storage mod for The Isle: Evrima with clean, game-ready logic and stable save/load behavior. I have experience working with Unreal Engine–based systems, UI integration, and gameplay state persistence using player identifiers (including Steam ID–based saving). For the Create Skin menu, I would wire your existing UI into dynamic material instances so color changes and pattern swaps update the 3D dinosaur preview in real time. This would include proper parameter binding, preset management, and clean separation between UI logic and rendering. For the storage system, I would implement a robust save/load structure that serializes the player’s selected dinosaur state and restores it reliably across sessions and map reloads, tied securely to Steam ID. The system would be designed to avoid duplication, desync issues, or data loss during server transitions. The budget and timeline can be discussed further based on your current mod framework and access to project files. Regards, Harpreet Singh

I can help turn both features into game-ready systems for Evrima with a strong focus on clean implementation, persistence, and reliable private-server testing. For the skin system, I can wire a dedicated Create Skin menu so players can adjust precise colours, switch preset patterns, and see changes update live on a 3D dinosaur preview. I’ll connect the UI selections to the correct material instances and make sure the chosen skin data is saved/retrieved properly against the player’s Steam ID. For storage, I can implement a persistent dino save system so players can store their current dinosaur, switch away, and later restore that same dino without losing progression, including persistence through map/server reloads. Deliverables: • Functional Create Skin menu with colour, pattern, and live 3D preview • Material instance hookup for real-time appearance updates • Steam ID–based save/load for player skin choices • Persistent dino storage/load system • Private server testing support and clean handoff-ready code A couple of things to confirm: Is your current mod codebase in Unreal Blueprints only, or mixed with C++? Should the stored dino include only species/appearance, or also growth and other progression data? Happy to review the current setup and map out the cleanest implementation path.

Hi there! You are building gameplay systems for The Isle Evrima mod, and the real challenge is syncing real-time cosmetic changes with a stable save system that persists correctly through Steam ID and server reloads without breaking player state. I recently worked on a UE-based gameplay UI system where we connected runtime customization menus to material instance parameters and persistent save data, ensuring live visual updates and stable restoration of player state after session reloads. I will build your “Create Skin” system with a 3D live preview, real-time material instance updates for color and pattern selection, and a clean save/load system tied to Steam ID so dinosaur state persists correctly across sessions and map reloads. Check our work: https://www.freelancer.com/u/ayesha86664 For the save system, do you want the dinosaur state stored per server session only, or should it persist across different servers tied to the same Steam ID? I am ready to start — just say the word. Best Regards, Ayesha

Hi there, I’ve read your brief and can turn both ideas into robust, player-ready features. I’ve built Unreal mod tooling and gameplay UI before, so I’ll wire your provided UI art to a Create Skin menu that adjusts material instance parameters (base colour, pattern blend, and preset swaps) and updates a realtime 3D preview. I’ll expose the editable parameters via Blueprints/C++ so the preview responds instantly and changes serialize to the player profile keyed by SteamID. For the storage mod I’ll capture the active dinosaur’s class, transform, inventory and relevant state, serialize it safely to disk/server-side storage, and restore it on demand so players can swap to other dinos and later reload their saved one. I’ll focus on clean data models, version-tolerant serialization, and error handling for map reloads. Next step: I’ll implement the menu hooks, material bindings and SteamID save/restore and deliver a build you can test on your private server. I’ll iterate until the menu shows colour, pattern and preview and saved dinos persist through map reloads without errors. Which dino properties (e.g., inventory items, custom stats, attachments) must be preserved when saving/restoring a dinosaur? Thanks, Daniel

Hello, The primary challenge lies in ensuring real-time updates for the “Create Skin” menu while managing the complexity of the 3D rendering and material instance alterations. Additionally, persistent storage of player data must be reliable, allowing seamless transitions between sessions without data loss or corruption. Will the existing framework support real-time synchronization for all UI interactions, or are there limitations? What are the specific data models used for saving the dinosaur states, and how should they be structured to ensure compatibility with future updates? Moreover, are there any constraints regarding the integration with Steam ID for user profiles? I look forward to discussing the technical details further.

Instant visual feedback in customization interfaces often makes or breaks user engagement. Connecting UI selections directly to material instances requires careful mapping and real-time update logic. What really matters is ensuring the data flow tightly integrates with the Steam ID saving system for accurate persistence. A frequent snag is managing the synchronization between client-side changes and server-side persistence, especially when users switch sessions or reload maps. There’s a subtle way to handle state restoration for saved dinos that minimizes load times and avoids hiccups you might not expect at first glance. Reach out for a free consultation, I can break this down simply so you avoid common mistakes.

Hi, I see you want to build an Evrima mod with a Create Skin menu featuring live 3D preview and a storage system that persists player dinos across sessions. I’ve worked on game systems involving UI wiring, material updates, and persistent player data tied to unique identifiers. I would connect your UI to dynamic material instances so color and pattern changes reflect instantly in the preview, then handle saving per Steam ID. For storage, I’d implement a reliable persistence layer that restores the exact dino state after reload without conflicts or data loss. Do you already have a preferred method for storing player data on the server, or should I design a lightweight persistence system for this? Kind regards, Abel.
