A 30 to 60 minute film is less about producing isolated beautiful shots and more about maintaining one consistent visual language for the entire story. Character proportions, facial expressions, environments, lighting, action choreography and lip sync all have to remain coherent from the opening scene to the final sequence. I’d approach it in stages: establish the character and environment style first, create a short cinematic sequence as the visual benchmark, then build the film around that approved standard. This also gives you a realistic basis for estimating the full production time and cost instead of guessing from the runtime alone. The action scenes especially need to feel choreographed rather than simply animated, with camera movement, effects, sound design and music working together to sell each beat.
