Very simple macro required, no more than 1 hours work for experienced VBA macro developer.
The macro embedded in an excel sheet will do the following
Open a MS Word template from same directory
Take data from the excel sheet and write to a table in the word document
Open a save as dialog for the user to save the file.
The macro must do the following:
Verify that the MS Word document exists and can be opened, error message if not
Read data from one excel 'table' and write directly to the word document, but allowing for the fact that the data may cross over pages, hence it should write a certain number of rows and if there are more rows than the word document will allow on one page, force a page break and add a new header to the second page (e.g. page 2 etc.)
Read summary data from another excel table on the same sheet and write to same word document.
Full error handling is required. We believe this to be easy operation for experienced developer. Both excel file and word document with sample data will be send to the successful candidate. Start today.
As requested please see attached document showing a screen shot of the excel sheet containing data and the word document showing the invoice where it needs to be inserted.
note - the VAT breakdown section in the word document should be moved to the excel sheet so that the calculations can be done there.
