Convert Spreadsheets into One Excel or Access System w/.NET or VBA

US-based firm wishes to convert up to 25 Excel spreadsheets into a single workable system, preferably a single file - either into a more efficient, user-friendly spreadsheet system with VBA programming, OR into an Access database with VBA programming that links to Excel to run calculations and produce outputs. We will provide method(s) for how the data is to be manipulated and what formulas should be used based on what inputs, except that Freelancer may need to create their own Excel pivot tables for internal use. Outputs may be simple Excel spreadsheets, possibly some Word document(s) and Adobe pdf's as well. System should take the user's data input, then organize, manipulate and perform calculations with that data, then produce certain outputs, like reports. Currently we're entering data multiple times in multiple Excel cells, copying into Word... and this new system should eliminate the excess entries. System should be replicable, in other words we wish to use one separate "system" or file for each client, for hundreds clients, all in the US. System should be used on local computers, not on a website. System should be scalable so that it can be easily emailed back and forth between us and clients. User should be able to add additional lines of information to reports, in addition to the data outputs produced by the system. System should include certain security protections to be discussed with Freelancer chosen. Requires understanding of Basic Accounting concepts, American English fluency, Microsoft.NET or Visual Basic programming expert. No other programming languages are permitted to be used other than Microsoft .NET, Microsoft VBA, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word. When bidding, bidders must specify which programs they are offering to use. After this system is complete and successfully in use, Freelancer may be requested to make additional modifications or corrections and/or other similar systems applicable to other areas of US law, including XML integration. Final product shall include a separate printout in Adobe pdf of all programming used. Questions welcome at all times. Freelancer will be required to sign a work agreement prior to beginning work.
