Need some code to communicate with Modbus slave over TCP/IP at a fast rate (10 Hz). I am trying to send 32-bit integers every 100ms. The timing is very important and currently my code only sends about 5-6 times per second, with inaccurate timing. I suspect the choking point is the modbus commands. Freelancer needs to be familiar with Modbus over TCP/IP and data exchange rates.

Hi, I have already worked with Modbus with Com and Serial port and read write to port. If you are using timer to achieve your timing of 100ms , then it is bound to fail, becasue the basic timing in VB is 55 ms. I can do this in POWERBASIC , which is compiled BASIC and is extremely fast Relevant Skills and Experience I have done plenty of projects in MODBUS, embedded devices and PC based communciations.
