Update Woocommerce order status with VBA code from Excel 2007

We need a script that updates an Woocommerce order (above version 6.1), to a specified order status and optionally capture payment before that.
Input value to script are:
- URL to web shop
- username/key to API
- password/secret to API
- the order number
- order status code (Completed, Cancelled).
- boolean for capture payment first
Payment capture is optional in code and should be done first, if bool for payment is true. Some orders (depending on payment type) are already captured at registration and for them bool=false in the script call. Payment capture is decided at call of script (true/false).
If call of payment capture returns an error, order status should not be updated. And a status value should indicate that order update went wrong.
Return value should tell if order status and capture update was OK or not. No need for user interface.
