Here the specifications for the two web scrapping programs for the wichita real estate website that we've been working with.
Program #1: Current active listings.
On the MLS website go to Quick Search on the left hand side.
Click Sedgwick county
Click Active on the status subscreen
Change # to display to 10000
Click search property.
You should get a screen like the one I'll send you in screen shot #1. (Currently there are 2,877 active listings)
I need the program to click on each MLS number, when you do this you will be taken to a new screen like in screen shot #2. I need all of the data off of this screen for each section.
Program #2: Sold listings for the last year.
On the MLS website go to Pro-search on the left hand side.
Go to the bottom and click on "Sold Date"
Enter the date : 6/5/11-6/5/12 in the box.
Click search (There were 7665 houses sold since this time last year.)
Data will be extracted just like in program #1.
I would also like an option to just do the last month of sold listings, instead of the whole year.
If it isn't too much of a problem, could you update the wichita crawler to get the more detailed data on the second screen, like these two programs?
I'll need both of these programs to have a _console version that I can use with the program you just created for me.
They will also need login and password options similar to the wichita_crawler.
I have a budget of $100 for these programs. Let me know if that will work for you.
