Prerequisites: a) Remote access to windows laptop to install tracaar software b) HTTPS - Need domain to setup SSL so that SSL certficates can be generated for this domain. Otherwise, self-sign certificates need to be used which is not very secure. c) Static IP address for the laptop and should be in public network so that it can be accessed over internet. Approach: a) Install Docker and setup Traccar Server in docker. Apache2 for https secure connection. b) Android code setup in VS Code. Android Studio is recommended instead of VS Code. APK can be generated using Android Studio or command line using gradle if you want to use VS Code c) IOS code setup in VCode. XCode is recommended. IPA cannot be generated on Windows machine. Need a MAC to generate IPA or we need to use tools like CodeMagic which emails you the ipa file with code present in git repository like bitbucket.
