Looking for an individual who is experienced in developing Excel templates for complex inventory tracking and accounting based upon input from a handheld scanner (SKU label) that is permanently linked to custom fields of user input data for the scanned item that is associated with a thumbnail pic downloaded from a SLR camera. Related financial accounting with real-time tally based upon preset rules. Template must accept handheld SKU label scans for initial item identification and manual data entry (i.e. item description, etc,.) and item "re-scan" for recall of a specific item for Point-of-Service (POS) transactions. Custom drop down menu for ease of sorting/analyzing data based upon predetermined criteria. Invoice printing directly from Excel for each individual POS sale would be a definite plus. Depending upon your recommendations, MS Access could serve as the GUI to simplify this process.
Prefer if you reside in the California Bay Area and be willing to meet to discuss this project in depth. However, if you have an established portfolio, this preference can be waived.
