Illustrator of Childrens Books.

To Illustrate a childrens book about a minibus character. I will require about 12 illustrations. The books are not sold commercially. They are sponsored and given free to children in Hong Kong and China. I am a teacher in a Chinese primary school and am not allowed to do any paid activities while under contact. I will approach publishers after my contract expires and any commercial selling of the book will include royalties for the illustrator. I have completed eight books so far and have been happy with the work of the illustrators. I am not concerned about reputations or experience as I am quite happy to let people who want the experience do the books. I only pay per illustration as I am funding the whole exercise from my own pocket. I hope to have 12 books completed by the end of June. This book is 'Ming and the Mai Po Birds" The story is based around a Minibus that carries twelve bird watchers to the Mai Po Wetlands in Hong Kong. When they arrive Ming becomes involved in hearing about their concerns regarding the vanishing wetlands. Illustrator will be able to find a lot of pictures on the internet. I will also be able to send pictures as well. The book is deigned to introduce children to the issue of vanishing habitats as well as let them be aware of some of the birds that visit the Mai Po Wetlands. An illustrator who is interested in birds may find it interesting.
