A vBulletin skin maven who is adept at creating a look and feel.
This is for an author’s website, and we recently upgraded our bulletin board to vBulletin 4. The upgrade went well but we were not able to maintain the look and feel of the four sections of the boards. We want the skins, banners and other formatting items to mimic the previous look of the site—or at least come extremely close.
Someone to reskin the four sections of the forum to closely match their pre-upgrade state. More info:
-This will probably involve creating or finding vBulletin 4-compatible skins that closely match the previous ones.
-One of the four sections of the website is relatively new, so we will need to find a new skin and add a new banner (already designed).
-The banners on each page need to seamlessly blend into the background at the top of the page (the background color should match the main color of the banner, thus allowing the page to expand and contract without looking awkward on various screen sizes.) Please see included reference images.
-In the previous version of the site, we had “light bulb” images that would indicate old or new posts in each section of the site. We would like to have this implemented again.
-There are two book names that, whenever typed anywhere in the forums, should be color formatted. This is partially implemented now, but it is buggy and needs some fixing. Please see reference image.
-Some of the text color templates need to be fixed. In one forum, text is white on white and thus, unreadable. In some places, hyperlinks are also the same color as the text, so that needs to be changed.
Once these items are implemented, we would like the person to check in on the site/be in contact with our team for three weeks after these changes have been made—to make sure everything is working correctly and make tweaks as needed.
Payment will be made as soon as project is completed.
Once bidding has closed, we will choose the best proposal within 72 hours and would request that all updates would be made within three weeks of the date the contract is signed.
We will give priority to people who can provide samples of their previous vBulletin work.
