Add as consultant and trainer to build a portal site showcasing available products and services. We are a non-profit trade association that focuses on offering products and services to community bankers. We specifically need someone who is well-versed in Joomla as we have chosen that product to manage and design our site. We are looking for someone who can lend a hand when we max out on our knowledge when it comes to the design, implementation and use of Joomla. The site itself is around 25 pages with minimal complication. We will be using forms to capture interest of those that might want to purchase a product or service being showcased. This site will not act as a true store (where payment is taken and a shopping cart exists) but is rather a portal to showcase various vendors that we partner with to offer products and services. We would also like this person to be able to train the staff who will be regularly using the Joomla product to manage the site (four people total). We have a preference for this person being located in our geographic area so that s/he may come on site to train us, but would also be willing to consider training via Webex or equivalent product should the fit be right. This project has a tight timeline and needs to be completed by mid-May. We expect that the consultant/trainer would need to spend around 20 hours on the project for around 5 weeks. We have worked in this capacity with outside consultants previously. We have one internal IT resource who is experienced with the technical aspects of web design and management and one internal design resource who will be leading the design and structure of the site.
