I wrote a book that was published Tuesday, June 28th. It is a fictional story that includes the characters envisioning a message service. I created a website for this service to become a reality. If you see the website, it looks like it's done, but none of the links and instructions really work. I need help making it work real soon. I listed the website address on the back cover of the book and people are going to start going there shortly. Yahoo sitebuilder was the easiest way for me to build a site, but i've gone as far as I can go. I would think someone that knows yahoo sitebuilder very well could complete this in an hour or two. I am the definition of a "Newbe" with big ideas and I need help quick. By the way, I'm not a wealthy, but I'm getting desperate.
My "vision" is to make my website work. I used yahoo sitebuilder and have most all the information on the site, including submission forms, and instructions on how it is all SUPPOSED to work. Now I'm now lost as to how to make it all happen. I need help creating accounts for my customers, so they can purchase the service, log in and create/change a personal message and a place where people can "read only" messages from someone using only a password. I need to make all the links work, and create places where messages can be saved, sometimes changed, and then finally read by someone who has been given a special password. These people will most likely read their messages years after they have been written. I am most interested in someone who already has yahoo sitebuilder on their computer and can download my new site and make it all work.
I said I was "most interested" in someone who already has yahoo sitebuilder on their computer. Actually this is a MUST, and they should be quite experience at working with it.
After further review, I think I should provide a few more details of what I need to have done. I need to make sure people cannot leave messages without first “signing up” and paying. Then I want their messages to be automatically saved somewhere so I don’t have to manually process each message. They would receive an auto response saying it was received and saved successfully. They need the ability go in and change it at a later date if they wish. But I also need the ability to go in and view what they wrote, for various reasons. I need the ability to set a date when their message can be viewed. It might be sometime in the distant future, but the most likely scenario will be as soon as I receive notification of their death (which I can do manually). On this data base of messages, some can only be viewed with a password. Others will be “public” which can be read by anyone. I want people to be able to search for public messages by things like occupation, age, medical condition, ect.
I think that’s pretty much it. Like I said before, most of all the typing is done, forms are made, and customer instructions/FAQ are all on the site already
And finally, 2 more things. I am looking for an American that speaks good English that I can speak with in order to answer questions and clarify anything while they are working on this. I have recieved several responses already, (thank you) but I will wait to pick someone until after they have read this additional information.
