Simply Baby ([login to view URL]) is a newly established Australia & New Zealand based online store retailing baby clothing & accessories. We are looking for an independent web developer freelancer that we can work with one on one to improve the website over time.
A few key objectives:
- Improve the speed of the website. Currently ranking 11 on Mobile and 44 on Desktop for Google Page Speed. You will need to modify the theme, enable caching, add/remove plugins and make other changes as necessary to drastically improve the site speed and ranking. This is a major objective.
- Improve the display of products on the main page. Specifically adding categories such as favorites, top sellers, new additions etc.
- Support on-going maintenance and assist with minor fixes as necessary.
We will consider your services based on the following factors. If you do not possess one of the following skills, this does not mean we will not consider you. Please provide clear examples and evidence where appropriate.
1. Your experience to date – projects completed on time and to the budget, your review ratings, the complexity of your previous projects, the design and intuitiveness of your previous projects.
2. Your knowledge of dropshipping – this is a MAJOR factor which will help us assign this project. If you have strengths in this area including knowledge, prior experience or past projects – this will be heavily weighted.
3. Knowledge of SEO, PPC and SMM is a bonus.
4. Your availability – we are looking for someone that is available [Removed by Freelancer.com Admin for offsiting - please see Section 13 of our Terms and Conditions] Ideally we are after someone in a timezone which allows them to be available during New Zealand daylight hours.
5. We are looking for someone that does not need to be guided on every detail. We want to give you a certain degree of creative control and do not expect to babysit you on minor details such as colours, margins, border width, alignment, spell checking etc. Your competency and attention to detail MUST allow you to do this on your own.
6. You must be able to speak and write English fluently.
