Ethical IT have a number of clients running systems with technologies such as Microsoft Server 2003 / 2008, MS Exchange 2007 / 2010, MS SQL Server, Linux, among others. The systems we support are a very wide mixture of technologies ranging from smaller organisations perhaps with only a few Desktop PCs, to large multi-national NGOs and including domain controllers, fileshare, email, database, application & web servers. Ethical IT typically has a support agreement with clients to maintain their environments via a Service Level Agreement (SLA).
We are looking for strong all-rounder with both the technical aptitude and the customer-facing skills to successfully represent us working with our clients typically on chargeable, ad-hoc project consultancy or urgent visits to site to fix an issue that we cannot resolve remotely via our Helpdesk team.
The individual would be working alongside committed IT Operations team to ensure that our clients are provided with a quality support & consultancy service, and will over time build up a good rapport with our team and our key clients
The successful candidate will be required to undertake the following main activities:-
? Ad-hoc site visits to client sites for smaller project work or fault fixing / investigation
? Occasional cover at our Old Street main office on our Helpdesk as an additional pair of hands during very busy periods, helping out the First and Second line teams as needed
The candidate must have strong Windows and networking skill and provide clear ownership and handover of jobs when taking them on and, when complete, handing them back to the core support team if any follow up is needed.
