I want a small application (whatever platform) to download emails, and save them into a QIF file.
For each payment I do with a credit card, I receive an email detailing: "date, store, amount".
I have QUICKEN (personal finance software) and I need to update each transaction manually.
I would like to automate the process, so, I would like a simple application that download emails from an account, read them, and update a QIF file with the new transaction.
MAC OS or WINDOWS 8
I have a Mac, but also runs Windows 8 through parallels. Any platform is accepted.
Indistinct. I used Visual Basic long time ago, so anything alike will be appreciated (but is not a requisite)
It is a TXT file with a format to enter transactions (simple)
very simple. You can even use an OCX component to get the email. It is for my personal use, so, not need complex documentation, nor installable, no multi platform/multilanguage functionality, etc.
Could be implemented via POP3, SMTP. Even I don't need SSL.
