Wordpress plug-in developer to create mockup plug-in

We have an existing plug-in that is used to overlay watermark images on some pictures, we need to modify it to overlay any image that will be uploaded by a designer on predefined product images that we have. (Tshirts and Mugs for now) . For example you upload an Apple, the plug-in will generate mock-ups for 5 blank t shirts with an Apple image on them.
The idea is simple merge of the design with the product template image and nothing 3D.

I am attaching an example of the output so this attached image resulted from merging a png image with transparent background with another template image that we have from the t shirt
This existing plugin already do something like this but it is not in the same way that we want it
