Wordpress Widget / Dynamic Tree Counter

Hi there,
we want to create a tree counter widget.
In the end, our partners (e.g. Best Western Hotels) can implement this on their website to show how many trees they have planted with us already.
Ideally, the data from our end comes from a Google Sheet document.
I've posted this as Wordpress widget. If you have better ideas how this could be implemented, feel free to let me know.
It should be
a) easy to implement for our partners (otherwise they won't use it)
b) easy to maintain
c) as universal as possible (guess most people work with WordPress - not sure if there are options to use such a widget on other CMS platforms as well?)

P.S.: It's a one-off project for now. However, we do need a bit of programming expertise in the future, including further widgets, WordPress programming and also an app (late '21 / early '22), hence ideally we'd be keen to build a long-term relationship.
