I have a flash movie which has about five images embedded in it. It is around about 600k in size. It's way too big to put on the front of a website and expect users to wait to download imho.
So, what we're looking to do is create a flash image player which will use an xml feed to display images through the player. All images will be stored and loaded from a directory on the server. In sync with this, we will have text flash on the screen, pause and then flash off the screen as we move from image to image. So the xml is gonna look something like this (of course with tags :))
src images/[url removed, login to view] /src
link [url removed, login to view] /link
text View Our ..... At ..... /text
pattern 1 /pattern
timer 3 /timer
The pattern is how the text will be displayed on the player i.e. does it come from the left and fast or from the right and slowly. Basic Actionscript effects.
The timer of 3 is the time that we will wait until moving onto the next image.
Anyway - it needs to be able to have an unlimited amount of images stored there. Well, at least upto 30.
That's it -- if you've got any questions PM me.
