Another spectacularly integrated home built in 1985 way ahead of it's time for the "green architecture" sustainable movement. 2 floors of passive solar heating, thoughtfully laid out for efficient use and open spaces, excellent woodworking throughout and has served this family of four extremely well. Architect's Home

Mill Building Theme: the clerestory lighting of this project is a direct decedent of a "mill building" concept. Note the beautiful steel details, site traffic flow and inviting entrance. It has served the owners very since the late 1990's.

An conceptual "tower museum" for Battery PArk in NYC on axis with the Statue of Liberty. This was a 2007 enter for a design competition. A spectacular pyramid with floating wave roof. The building is on 5 main piers In every aspect is theoretically build-able. Would be a tough sell and monumental challenge with the NYC authorities except of course if one had MBlumberg on the team. He seems to have the ability to tackle the big challenges.

This project is a nice balanced mix of traditional architecture with a contemporary slant. The environmental response is very good, it has a loop drive layout and was very thoughtfully and efficiently placed on the site.
